very good point. Forbes Magazine had a cover story a few years ago, detailing how Clinton was riding the coattails of Reagan's economic policy. Was a very well written, very well-researched article.

Which is kinda funny when you think about it, because back in 1981, I remember the Democrats calling Reaganomics "Voodoo Economics." You remember the battle cry. They badmouthed it like there was no tomorrow...today, Clinton embraces those same "voodoo economics," as they are the sole reason his approval rating isn't measured in integers.

BTW, kudos to me...I am watching Bubba's speech, as we speak, and he is saying EXACTLY what I predicted he would. He wasn't even this adamant about his definition of "sex," which makes anyone wonder what his real motivations are behind passing this...hmmm, I wonder what he had for lunch today...perhaps Peking Duck? Perhaps he can comment on how Janet Reno is coming with those investigations into the Chinese stealing our nuclear secrets. Just can't imagine how any American would support a nuclear treaty less than 3 months after the Chinese had been exposed as stealing our nuclear secrets. P.T. Barnum was right.

If CNBC does not broadcast a Republican rebuttal of this Democratic Party fund raiser, than they are on the same level as the National Enquirer. Perhaps they can send Bill Griffeth to Miami to interview OJ and Pedro Guerrero...

Oh geez, now the tobacco fallback rhetoric...I forgot about that one. "Mahh leegil buddies haven't made enough munney yet off this thar' tobacco settlement thang. We need to promote scumbag attorneys' efforts to go after American businesses. Once they git dun' with them thar' tobacco cumpanees, then we'll let them go after the health insurance people and them thar' rich Republican doctors, and after that, we'll see who else we can let the attorneys drive out of bizniss."

Why doesn't he talk about the Colt workers in Hartford (who were probably union) who got let go, thanks to his attorney buddies chasing them out of business thanks to out of control tort laws, where Clinton's policy has clearly been, "if it moves, sue it."

Now, he's being asked about Monica Lewinsky, his retort: "The American people have been through enough..." OH CRY ME A RIVER!!! That was the best of the day.
