After checking further, the LSI chipset is jointly developed with Orckit, so there was some double-counting in my earlier post on chipset vendors. It is spec'd at 8.2 Mbps downstream, 640 Kbps in the duplex data channel for up to 4 Km. They state that is fully compliant with the DMT standard (T1-413).
