Gartner Group is one of the few analyst groups that looks ahead. Their "Cost of ownership" studies on PCs some years back were groundbreaking and ran into the face of accepted wisdom, but guess what - they have been proved exactly right.

I believe they are right on the button with their ASP predictions too. In support, just look at the business companies like Exodus who host systems for companies are doing. Most big web sites are outsourced and out-hosted (is that a word?). From there it is a small step to hosting apps.

Another datapoint is Citrix. They have built a multi billion $$ company on remote application access. The applications are hosted centrally on a big server. It is only a tiny step from there to hosting the server at an ASP.

GraphOn has unique potential, for enabling any Windows or UNIX (or Linux) app to be delivered over any connection to any desktop. I do not believe anyone else can make that claim. I remember when CTXS stock was in single digits and have been kicking myself ever since for not buying then. With GOJO I hope to more than make up for that.
