Licensing Partnership for Hand Held Racing

BRAMPTON, ONTARIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1999-- GTR Group Inc. (TSE:GTR. - news;
AMEX:GIG - news) , today announced a licensing agreement between its Mad Catz division and Sony Computer
Entertainment America (SCEA) which brings to the marketplace a revolutionary new Hand Held Racing Wheel
designed by Mad Catz for Sony's PlayStation game console. This RC-style controller provides accuracy in design
and performance as well as a competitive price of $39.99.

RC style controller features 90 degree rotation 10 fully programmable digital action buttons, three separate control
modes: Steering Wheel/NegCon, Analog Controller and Digital, as well as RC style acceleration, and a braking
trigger.
