Re: DigiScent - It's the feature article in this month's edition of Wired. The Wired reporter was given a demo and claims he was able to smell orange peels, bananas, cedar, wood smoke, etc. emanating from an "odor synthesizer" - "a black plastic box 3" tall, 2" wide and 5" deep, linked via serial cable. Somewhere inside it, a little fan starts whirring, drawing in air at the back and blowing it over tiny vials of oils that are being heated selectively in response to signals from the computer. The air picks up the oily fragrance and wafts it out through a 2" vent."
