Good points. However what if (and I don't know if this is the case) KPMG was planning a spin-off? I do know that the information "on the street" here is San Jose is that KPMG has hired some of the INS gang. The rumor (and it may be just a rumor but I'm hearing from well placed people) is that INS has lost a number of very good engineers and consultants. Unfortunately this isn't public data so we'll never know...unless former INS employees post here.
