F... last year's stellar #s are what makes comparisons difficult.... no one has 20+ % SSS year in year out.... check WMT lately PEG=47/26 yet ANF 30/41... ANF growing faster has become the value play and has consistently beat estimates by a far greater margin than WMT... they'll do it again this quarter....... as far as your own personal opinion about prices.... you can debate that with the 1000s that won't shop anyplace else..... it's easy to pick a loser at the bottom... it often hard to buy when everybody else is selling but this is the required discipline for success in any marketplace (including real estate).... and most difficult the for rookies chasing high flyers to acknowledge.... a couple of years ago many felt CC & BBY would fade as no one needed more stereo stuff... hummmmmmm..... ANF's biggest problem is the high level of institutional sponsorship..... but, this too will be overcome as the holidays approach....
