JimWillie. I conclude that TA is good stuff. However, you must look as it as only one layer in a system where there are multiple layers of influence sets.Other layers are 1)Options expirations and the probability that some very powerful entities with buy/sell power want to minimize their cost when options expire each month. 2)The value to investment houses of stirring the pot by over reacting to bad news and using shares released by scared investors to build low cost inventories. Pumping up good news so they can sell inventoried shares at a high price. In this power system, news often overtakes TA. JohnG
