I think by declaring Martial Law the General is causing more trouble for the country and closing his doors to way out.
Or maybe he is doing in his sincerity, doing to the best of his wisdom. If he cleans up the mess caused by the politician, He will get public support for sure. If he brings the revolution, which cleans up the mess created by one after other crook politicians, man, he will become Imam Khumani of Pakistan. There has to be someone who got to do this.
When I was in Pakistan, believe it or not, poor people were so desperate, they just prayed to the Lord for revolution. One who can get them rid of butchers those were sucking blood of poor by the name of democracy. All bogus slogans of "Return Loan and Save Country." All dollars went into his pocket.
Whether there is a martial law or democracy, poor people has nothing to do with this. They just want enough to feed themselves. A uniform driver makes Rs. 2,000 a month. Can you believe it, how can he support his family. A mailman makes less than that. Someone told me that "Aa-b dar" who waters trees at the banks of roads, gets paid Rs. 600 yes six hundred only by government of sindh. Irony is that they are even not paid regularly.
Business in Sindh especially has suffered the most. Karachiites have shot themselves in their foot by creating civil war kind of atmosphere in the town were poor people have suffered gravely.
I am sick of crook politicians. They are the same, just changing their costumes. Poor and need is getting worse.
I don't like Martial Law, but I do support mess cleaning.
