My belief is that the earning will be good. Just how good, I haven't a clue. The past two Quarters have provided us with EPS of $.03 for each quarter. I would really be surprised if they were less than $.03. I believe this because even though they were pretty quiet during the summer, I understand that it was business as usual for them.
To be frank, I would have expected to hear more contract announcements from them once they cleared the filing hurdle. However, I also understand (from talking with another company that I hold shares in) that more often than not, it is the customer who controls the timing of a contract announcement, and not the vendor (in this case ASI). As a result, even though we might not have heard about it, they could have been working their tails off for all we know.
What I can tell you is that they have added over 10 more people to their head count since I started following this company. A small growth company doesn't add these many new bodies if the work is slow.
So, in summary, my guess is that this Q results should be good, but I believe that the fourth Quarter is where the real story will be told. This is because their Data Capture arm of the business should be ready to fire on all cylinders by then. I firmly believe that this is when we will start to see some pretty impressive numbers.
