What do you think of the latest word from Pakistan that the new regime would like to continue peace talks with India?

The MushHead guy is a Sindhi, actually a Mojahir (sp?) - one who migrated from India. Sharif promoted him expecting that the new COAS will be less allied with the other generals, anchoring the depraved Sharif regime in the seat of power forever. MushHead also has a Western outlook and his support for Taliban was indeed based on American nod. He is not religious. He had also talked about improving the economy and the plight of common people before the takeover.

Is it possible that Sharif was hand-in-gloves with the Pak Army on Kargil intrusion to gain an edge in negotiations with India, but that he backed out blaming the Army, Indian propaganda notwithstanding? MushHead might have precipitated the coup because he was personally in danger. Has he realized that Pakistan cannot continue on its suicidal path forever and so he must talk with India and gain world-wide reputation for having achieved something that is inevitable, namely, converting the LOC as a permanent boarder? Is it possible that other Pakistani corps commanders are lured by a "smart" MushHead?
