Bill, I agree with you that market is heading lower. The question is when? Using history to guide me I say tomorrw is start followed by further dip on Monday. AG in speech tonight advised bankers/brokerage houses/fundies to set aside cash in the event of major selling - guess where the cash will most likely come from. If AG's speech (in which he is giving prudent advice) is followed by high PPI tomorrow, we should see beginning of BK imo. I hope I am wrong. But the market is nervous now. Until recently it was shrugging off AG's warnings - now it listens. bloomberg.com Oddly enough in the event of major dip my shopping list includes major internets on the premise that they will still grow very rapidly, enough to offset slowing economy and rising rates.
