We are the only generation in a hundred years who has been able to say "F*ck politically correct, I want to have fun!" You should be loud mouthed, arrogant, obnoxious, and always right.
But the downside is, you need to admit it when you are wrong, this is the tough part. As for the guys reaming on you about not having enough life experiance, do this....
Get a fairly benign tatoo, my brother's first was Lucky the Leprechaun (Lucky Charms, ya know), my first was more controversial, the Statue of Liberty flipping Europe the bird.
And then show it to your dad.
Since I'm from a blue collar family, it is a bonding experiance, but I get the feeling from your posts that your father might not respond by showing you his tatoos and talking about the good old days. |
