Did anyone see the mention of Northpoint in this month's Red Herring? Quite an interesting article to the extent that Northpoint is supposed to have more agreements with ISP's than either Covad or Rythms. For some reason, Covad seems to be getting all of the ink and the hype. I was all set to buy Covad but now I am looking closer at Northpoint. At this price, how much worse can it get? On a personal level, we recently installed DSL in my company and it is simply awesome. We only have throughput at 192k but that is ripping fast compared to the old dial-up. DSL should crush cable at least for the foreseeable future in my opinion. Just rambling.
