The SONO device is a portable version of traditional ultrasound devices, got funding to be used on the battlefield. The improvement with SONO is not so much quality of the image - although quality for the money is a big improvement vs. traditional. A longer wavelength means deeper penetration into the body, but less definition in the image. Shorter wavelength (higher frequency) means less penetration but a mind boggling precision in the image. Both devices are portable and do not compete with each other. So, an investor could like both, dislike both, whatever.
