ABLEAUCTIONS ON EBAY(R)

ABLEAUCTIONS ON EBAY(R)

BURNABY, British Columbia, Oct 14, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --
Ableauctions.com(TM) Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ABLC) is pleased to
announce that all of its Silent Auctions will be hosted on eBay(R), the
world's largest person-to-person trading community.

All of Ableauctions' inventories in the Silent Auction portion of its
website will be listed simultaneously on eBay's web site and servers.
Users logging on to "www.ableauctions.com" and selecting "Silent
Auction" will be linked to a specific site on eBay's servers. Users
logging on the website "www.ebay.com" will be able to preview and bid
on Ableauctions' entire inventory and link to the Charity Auctions and
the schedule of the Live Video Broadcast auctions on the Ableauctions
site.

The first joint auction, featuring a giant computer and electronics
liquidation, is expected to take place early November, following
Compaq's and Allaire's implementation of the Ableauctions site.

Compaq is implementing a fault tolerant server farm specifically
designed for Ableauctions.com utilizing its Distributed Internet Server
Array (DISA) technology. The Allaire Corporation, based in Cambridge,
Mass., is implementing application development and server software for
Ableauctions enterprise-scale application. The company's products
enable high-volume, transaction-oriented applications for electronic
commerce. The deployment of the Ableauctions site marks the first and
most extensive design that the Allaire Corporation and Compaq Computer
Corporation have jointly collaborated on. It is expected to pave the
way to successive implementations.

These alliances are an integral component of Ableauctions.com's
strategy to position itself as a world class Internet Auction Company.

Ableauctions.com is a high tech business-to-business auctioneer that
conducts its auctions live and simultaneously broadcasts them over the
Internet. The Company liquidates a broad range of computers,
electronics, office equipment, furniture and industrial equipment that
it acquires through bankruptcies, insolvencies and defaults.
