Sounds like Greenspan is trying to be able to say "I warned you" if there is a "Y2K Black Monday October Panic", given how incredibly overpriced equities are today in terms of P/E's.....Like double the P/E's before the 29 crash.

Perhaps he is trying to start a downward bear market to let the air out of the bubble slowly instead of the huge "panic" that is anticipated by some.

I don't owe anyone a penny and can grow my own food, so I'm not worried......
