TYC the gold bugs view
Le Metropole members,
Good grief. All heck is breaking loose. It will probably
hard for you to imagine me as the calm collected soul in
the Cafe. That just may be the case!

The Cafe's David Tice was all over CNBC and the news
today for his expose of Tyco, the conglomerate business
machine. David is a CPA accountant and is exposing their
accounting irregularities to the investment world.

CNBC was a real squawk box about David today. He is a regular
on CNBC, so I was surprised they were on his case so much.

CNBC brought on the CEO of Tyco who denied David's charges.
CNBC said: look he denied it all. How dare Tice? Tyco closed
down 10 after the stellar performance by Tyco's CEO. The
market said Tice is right. So does Le Patron!

Who woulda thunk? Me, the mild mannered one. More coming.
The Cafe's Charles's Peabody is about to nail a couple of
banks. Charles is the bank guru on Wall Street. Long time
Cafe ers know he predicted the long bond rate better than
ANY anlayst on Wall Street. He has also predicted a bank
stock crash as most of you know. Charles is on Fire and
has been ALL year as you know!

All of this can be checked out in the Library's of the
Cafe Tables. It is all there for you to review at your
leisure.

AND THERE IS MORE to add to Tice and Peabody's claims.

Guess who is adding fuel to the fire. Good ole Uncle Alan
in a speech to BANKERS:

Dow Jones headlines as of 9 PM EST.

"Greenspan warns against overreliance on market values"
"Greenspan: risk managers must be prepared for MKT panics"

At this time the S&P is down 10 points after the U.S. close.

More: latest Wall Street rumors:

1. Tiger, the mega hedge fund, is TAPICOCA. Covered gold
shorts on the gold run up. Then announced that they were
not short gold. True, just down and out.

2. Goldman Sachs may announce big gold loss as a result of the gold price run up.

Back to the Midas:

Check in on "Shootin the breeze." Featuring "Indiana Jones
and the Mine of Boom Revisited."

Le Metropole Cafe

All the best,

Bill Murphy
