<The companies haven't discussed the matter yet.> I missed that in the CC. My interpretation was that either Intel already had a license or that it had talked to Qcom first. Otherwise, it had to feel confident that license would be granted based on "partnership" relationship declared several times or muscle (anti-trust suit) or it has something big to offer. The tone, however, was that Intel had Qcom's blessing.
