I am lucky if I can connect to AOL at 28.8. I tried 56K modem at home, but the phone line was so bad I had trouble connecting at all and at best got 33. If 560k is plenty fast for the internet for residential use, and 1.5 is not needed, then if the service is cheaper, it should be a hit.

The FCC appeal is to be argued in three weeks, early November I think I saw somewhere.

It seems also to me that MCI/Sprint ought to jump at selling NextWave service as part of bundling. Use your Sprint phone for mobile, NextWave for internet, local MCI/Sprint and long distance service. Tremendous captive market with all the Sprint cell phone users.
