There are many ways to invalidate a patent. What I expect microsoft will do is file for a re-examination of that patent. Under re-exam, Microsoft has to submit other prior art (i.e. references) which were not used during the examination.

Still, priceline has got a patent and it is pretty difficult to invalidate a patent in court. Experts will testify on both sides talking about the validity
