Revisionist History

USMA rewrites history to fit his own warped sense of self, but that still doesn't make it the truth. It is true that EP first tried the IPO gambit in May of 98, but it was his comment in November that caused the spike to 27. The actual timeframe between your points 1 and 3 is three weeks, not "months". On the CNBC interview, EP never mentioned the IPO, Haines mentioned it after the interview and said that the NETR IPO would be "filed" within a couple of months, not that it would start trading then. This fight was well hashed out on other threads months ago when the interview was still available on the CNBC website.

The "stealth" roadshow simply proves that I was correct about the roadshow all along. No PR, no press and no affect on NAVR stock price because that is not the purpose of the roadshow.

The parent stock tanked on IPO day. Big surprise, they all do. Any brainless wonder with an internet account that can spell bigcharts.com could look at other parents and see the obvious. Parents tend to drop for about 5 days after the IPO. We knew this 6 months ago and posted it all over RB. You can't use this tank as an attack on Navarre anymore than you can use nightfall as proof of failure of the sun, it is a given.

One last item, you were reviled and attacked because you made the fight personal. It is ok to be negative on a stock, point out its faults and call it crap. You did all that, and heaped derision on those that bought the stock. Making attacks on fellow posters caused the attacks that you got in return. You made it personal, and deserved whatever you got.
