Speech-recognition might be a killer-application. Hopefully, it requires a fair-bit of memory. It needs it to be quickly accessible, non-volatile, and reprogrammable. Just the sort of application that could demand a lot of flash-memory.

Derek, yes I am aware of mobile-phones. I've held Qcom for a long time, my stake in them is now six-times my nominal unit-size. I am sure cell-phones use some flash, I was looking for a reason to expect them to require a lot of flash. Speech-recognition might do that.
