JTS has finally reached the retail channel..... I spoke with a local drive distributor and PC assembler who has just picked up JTS for use in their desktop machines (displacing Quantum). He said that the distinguishing feature of the JTS product was the large storage volume at a VERY low price. He said that he is currently sending out 50-100 JTS equiped machines on a test basis. If they work, he'll ramp up orders. If they don't, he'll drop them like a hot rock. I'll let you know how it goes. The good news is that the product has finally made it through the channel. As for the stock, I think it's still an event driven story. Events to look forward to: OEM announcements and confirmation that they are going to make their revenue number for the quarter.
