Grayhairs & thread, here is a brief update.

Well, the markets have taken a shellacking after Greenspan & the PPI numbers went public.
Our JVs held through the carnage and have now turned up into the green.

The reason for this...we have SAND!
I got very little information this morning, but they apparently have both sand and porosity at Cal Canal.
They aren't into the good porosity yet, but have to be close.
To me, the presence of sand suggests that they are now in the Temblor Group (Buttonbed member).
They have been expecting the uppermost Temblor sand to be tight all along, so we look to the second sand for our reservoir (1st Carneros member).

I got no word of ROP (rate of penetration) or of gas values, but the market seems to be liking it.

Happy trading.
