<We've seen this before...who remembers 199 to 99 to (post-split) 99?>

My only concern is that this downward drift in price has occurred during a strong advance (until Wednesday anyway) in inet indices such as the dot and iix. gnet's recent price action has run counter to that upward trend. I don't fully understand why, except that gnet is not among the hottest subsectors (b2b and comm infrastructure). I do not follow the portals subsector closely, but my impression is that only the first tier (aol and yhoo) have been performing well recently. Finally, PA's story is an LT one, and that goes counter to the momentum story that fuels the exciting price action of the inets. This more than any factor probably explains gnet's recent drift lower.

ST, I am a little concerned about what this downward price drift portends for the chtr ipo. Perhaps that ipo will not produce as big a bang as we hope. Again due to the LT nature of PA's Wired World investment strategy.
