Hi David.

I agree that the transition from explorer to producer has played a big part. The fact that SUF has not done a PP - it has financed its exploration through M1 cash flow - has meant that it has not required the "assistance" of the major Cdn brokerage firm that underwrote the stock all the way up to $20 ; other diamond companies that will have to tap the capital markets to fund capex are the analysts new "darlings".

The fact that SUF will not require similar "assistance" from the Cdn. firms to finance its acquisition/development of the Messina platinum mine - current plan is combination of minority black empowerment partner, SA bank and maybe a rights offering in Messina on the JSE - is certainly not further endearing SUF to the Cdn firms .

Just watch - if SUF were to do a PP in Canada for or following Messina , it would again regain the fervent favour of the analysts now expressing concern about SUF not having enough $ to fuel the exploration engine (read, you haven't given us any business in a while - don't you think we should underwrite an issue to help you fund exploration - nudge, nudge, wink, wink). Too funny.

Regards.
