Bruce: Thanks for presenting the eBay case so carefully and specifically. You have not only been the first to use the criteria and scoring system in the revised GG book chapter 12, but you have also used a very useful (IMO) comparative check list from the Fool. That eBay does well using both is pretty damn impressive.

The GG authors use eBay as one of their examples as you know and you have put more meat on the bones.

Very much appreciate your doing this here. This is the first thorough test case use of the Icarus scoring system recommended by the GG authors as best I can recall. Thank you.

Teflon is the keeper of the keys on the Diamonds in the Rough list, but I for one vote yes for eBay's inclusion.

Would also hope that someone will make the case for Amazon along the same lines.

PS Mike Buckley is always joking about my eyes glazing over on numbers, but you combined the substance and the numbers well. You have set a fine example for us here. (Just IMO of course <g>)
