--11:18 am ParkerVision drops amid reports of a possible scam
ParkerVision (PRKR: news, msgs) falls 7, or 24.8 percent, to 21 1/4. The stock is dropping after an article in Fortune magazine looks to expose a possible scam to lift the company's stock price. Included among the possible culprits is James Ferraro, a money manager at Neuberger Berman. Fortune says Ferraro has just been suspended for possible improprieties relating to ParkerVision and other small-cap stocks go2net.newsalert.com
