Well, I don't think we'll see any major selloffs in the large cap stocks this october, just because I don't think people will sell this time. There is too much enthusiasm about the internet and internet economy, etc. Last year cisco tanked to the 40s - but only because no one had seen Amazon's retail numbers for the Xmas season. There is nothing scientific in my thinking, I just think the big caps like csco will hold, therefore the market will hold. Msft is a wild card though because I see them declining regardless. Anyway I'll check market gems again and just look for tickers and not advice...
