Precisely. However, the right-wing criminals of the RSS and the VHP aren't going to let the persecution stop, for that is what they thrive on, and that is what they are counting on for their own future. The present NDA coalition is most likely to be wrecked from within the BJP.
Vajpayee at the helm will try his best to minimize and attenuate, if not eliminate, this violence. Vajpayee is the PM of all Indians. I sincerely believe that he will do everything under the Indian constitution to protect all Indians. And also, Pakistan is lucky to have Vajpayee as a participant in the peace process.
Since You are the blue-eyed white American as U claim, do you worry about the KKK, the hooded hoods, the Aryan Nation, the sporadic killing of blacks by stray bigots, law enforcement agencies etc, school shootings, black church bombings, synagogue bombings, synagogue vandalism, Indian temple vandalism. All most all the serial killers in this country are whites. Does that mean the whites are a criminal race? The answer is an emphatic NO. The Judeochristian ethic is the basis of the western civilization and we Indians look up to that ethic for inspiration. How does all this impinge on your psyche with your knowledge and righteous condemnation of violence in India. Is there still hope?
