Tim, the good thing about takeover plays in a falling market, is that the stock price is not as affected as another stock whose play depends on expected earnings, or an upturn in the company's fortunes.

For the buying company, they will buy whatever shares they can from sellers who are bailing. In addition, the officers of company being bought ie CS, look on the purchase price ie. $32 per share as more attractive if the stock is sliding.

CS and PIOS are my only long term holds in this market.
