Eidos' Fantasy Come True Friday, October 15, 1999 - 02:29 CDT Eidos has extended its publishing deal with Squaresoft to include Final Fantasy VIII on the PC throughout Europe and Australia. The Final Fantasy series has become one of the most successful franchises in video games industry. To date, the series has sold in excess of 22 million units worldwide, coupled with record setting pre-sell figures in Japan for the release of Final Fantasy VIII on the PlayStation.
