So there is absolutely no chance of India letting that happen, as long as the saffron-langot and khakhi-knicker lobbies remain powerful.

Dipy:
Here you are talking about Kashmir. You claim that Saffron-Longots and khakhi-Knickers are powerful lobbies. In your opinion, these lobbies won't agree on either declaring LOC as an international border or leaving the POK with the PAKIs.

These same outfits and their ilk are also responsible for the deaths of minorities in India and no prosecutions were ever made, according to your claim.

Let us draw parallel examples in this country. Take the tobacco and gun lobbies. Millions of people are dying a slow death from bronchitis, emphysema, & lung cancer in this country and millions around the world from smoking American cigarettes. There are also many products outlawed in this country that are sold in third world countries.

Take the gun lobby: Every day people and children die from intentional,& accidental firearms discharges.

US legislators are doing something about them- Agreed.

The deaths from tobacco are not prosecutable offence. The deaths from firearms could be prosecutable or otherwise depending on circumstances.

Looking at them as deaths from lobbies is not out of order. What do U do with these lobbies and the legislators who take soft and PAC money from them? Are gun and cigarette manufacturers, the lobbyists and the legislators by definition criminals and therefore responsible for prosecutable offence of causing deaths in tobacco and firearm use
How do U look at these deaths intellectually?
