What a day/week! I subscribe to the theory that once today (options expiration) is behind us, the market's focus on next week's CPI and trade numbers will produce plenty enough uncertainty to cause further (and bigger) deterioration Monday and Tuesday - unless Tuesday's CPI figures come in really benign. Much more damage is ahead IMO - I think another 10% down before year end is in the cards, by which time we finally may have seen enough fear to cause capitulation of the bulls.
