Ok, let me clarify, since my simple responses have overwhelmed you. My first notion was to respond to you with a question: "What drugs are you on?" I changed my mind since I decided I wasn't going to "label" you. My response "Could you be a little more vague, please?": SARCASM! When I said, "There are flaws in everything. And we should all be individuals. Is that ALL you're trying to say?": Incredulous sarcasm! I knew what you were saying all along, but was making an example of you. Sorry it went over your head. I hope no one else missed it. Obviously MikeH caught it. It doesn't take an essay to explain that we don't share the same ideals to the letter. If you want to describe contentment to me, don't dress it up nice and fancy, thinking it will somehow make me go "oooh, aaaah!" It doesn't work on me. When I was in college there was a guy who would say things like "Most people think absolute dark is blindness, but absolute light is just as blinding," and people would go "oooh! aaah!" As for me, I went "Tttthhhhbbbbttt!!!" There was no wisdom there, only the obvious. And yet he made it sound good, and everyone praised his words. You want that same praise, I think, but all I have for you is a raspberry special. |
