Interesting comment on Wall Street Week tonight...Louis said that if you take out price increases for tobacco and new cars the wholesale price index rose only 0.1%! Also that increases in tobacco are a big boom to tax collections due to the fact that they are so heavily taxed and that the new car models have come out early this year thus accounting for the auto price increases...they also let Greenspan have it for some of his thinking out loud comments this week...they all said it's time to go bargain hunting...I don't usually catch the show but since I jumped into an index 500 fund today I thought I'd see what they had to say...
