Manny - not at all, wanted all the people I trade with every day to be aware of the figures. Oct. 19th was 1987 crash day. The market sell off this week was more than drastic. Why would anyone want to see so many people get burned in a crash? Not I. Just stating some facts that I feel are important as human emotion plays a big role in the equity market. Feel the the bureaucrats are at the forefront of this whole situation - and they are supposed to be helping us acheive the American Dream. Of course they all feel that we need to be looked out for - that the free markets should not be able to do whatever the like.
