Each OEM simply followed the technical standard adopted by the FCC. So it is the responsibility of each OEM to be compliant. YES, they have been compliant (see FCC comments). NO, there is no need to file suit. Negotiations involving and "industry wide" licensing agreement are ongoing and have been in "good faith". It is not easy to negotiate a single royalty fee for a whole industry as is being done here. However, it appears that we are very close.

As for the bio-chip, we are in the infancy. this will be a HUGE emerging technolgy as we enter the millenium.

By the way, I have played the short side before. Not on ACRI (I think you're crazy to short this one). Look at BASDC which was BASEA; shorted at 9 1/2, it is now 1 3/4's after a 1 for 5 split. I like to look for stocks that do poor financings to short. Great example right here in bASDC. Easy exit strategy.
