Another For what it's worth. I read in the paper today: Gov. George Pataki on Thursday unveiled a plan to force dramatic smokestack reductions from New York power plants that contribute to smog and acid rain. Critics said the plan will raise the cost of electricity.
Under new regulations to be issued by the state Department of Environmental Conservation, power plants in New York will have to meet the previously planned 2003 summer only reductions of nitrogen oxide emissions year round and drop sulphur dioxide emissions to 50 percent below federal requirements. The reductions would be phased in by 2007.

It seems to me that SGII should be aware of this and could presell all the production from the first commercial plant. The market is there, get your nose out of the hole and get on it.
