listen, i'm speaking on behalf of MYSELF. Mo Chips is going to have to represent himself/herself.
1. my motivation is to express my opinion. you are extremely bullish on intel, i am not. my motives are to express my concerns and to hear arguments either against it or for it as well gather information from members of this forum. so far, i have been pretty happy with the kind of responses that are posted.
2. what john hull is doing is stating his company's "official" position on intel. i'm stating my opinion. where does the difference lie other than the fact that my opinion is not as gung ho as yours or the company's? and do YOU have an obligation to be truthful in YOUR communications? no.
the same argument holds for all of the other individuals in this forum. in fact, we ALL COULD BE LYING, if u think about what u're saying. how do we even know if these profiles that people enter are even real at all? gee -- maybe we should get comparator (IDID) to provide this web site with some type of fingerprint idenfication feature so that we really know who everyone is for sure.
what reason would i have to have a negative short term opinion on a stock? do u think i shorted it and am trying to bring it down? give me a break! as if this intel forum moves the market. what do we have here -- like 15 individual investors? oh -- maybe FIDELITY is in this forum?!
3. fine, u think earnings will rise, i say no. so what?! we differ!
4. you say demand for pcs is rising NOW, i say i don't see it the same way. i don't see anything happening until 1997. (do you believe EVERYTHING u see in the press?)
5. if u want to follow kurlak's rec, that's entirely up to u. i think he's brainwashed.
6. i am a long term investor (here i say hold) and i am also a short term player in intel (here i say sell). i wear an investor's hat as well as a trader's. hence, here is where u probably have a problem as u seem to be looking at intel for the long haul. that's fine, i don't have a problem with u. why do u have one with me?

i am now getting quite sick of this. this is really dumb to have to waste my time on these personal issues. all i can say is if u don't like my comments then just ignore them. if i offended u, then i apoligize because that was NOT my intention. i hope this is the end of this stuff... it's tiring and i'd rather get back to talking about the stock. |
