Over looked stesses: THREE TRILLION TONS of material, and SFA #s=1/6 ths OUNCE per Ton High at 0.21 gram and 4.94 Gram = 5+ Grams or with one ounce at 31 we have .166 OPT AU/PT or about .17 at a high or one sixth OPT METAL at the High so say 4 TIMES the Standard Economic ONE GRAM MAJIC NUMBER ( subject to ore and Recovery further study!) :
"And platinum was a bit of a surprise," adds Bob Lipsett, "although we're certainly pleased that it's there given that it's in high demand. The results - up to 4.94 grams of platinum and 0.21 grams of gold per tonne - are encouraging, but we will need to find the deposit before we can determine just how significant these results are."
Birch Mountain's Chairman, Dr. Richard Garnett, elaborates on the Company's recent news: "Our results are solid. We have three fire assays with similar results from Bondar Clegg and Activation Laboratories, two extremely reputable firms. They obtained the samples independent of Birch Mountain. Birch Mountain has been, and will continue to be, very cautious about releasing results of analytical or extraction analyses."

Q. Do you think the Athabasca region has economic potential?

A."Yes, unequivocally," according to Dr. Hugh Abercrombie, Manager, Exploration. "The conditions leading to the formation of the three-trillion tonne Athabasca oil sands

and ChuckaSays: A New Carlin Style TREND:
...<<The conditions leading to the formation of the three-trillion tonne Athabasca oil sands deposit also appear to control the flow of gold-bearing brines. Microdisseminated, sediment-hosted gold deposits, such as Carlin in Nevada...>>

Now, Birch Has 2 Million acres of which only a small part is Athabasca Oil Sands, say what 20%...is the THREE TRILLION of area...
at say not the HIGHEST OPT rate just said of 1/6 ths OPT AU and PT at the High so; say even half that at the average or maybe even the LOW:
one twelfth oe 1/12 th is still over THE MAJIC NUMBER IMHO.
One Gram plus just on two elements. One Trillion Tons anyways...maybe basis...thus we have to PROOVE WHAT WE APPEAR TO HAVE- The largest Biggest and The MEANEST PGM Deposite in the world...in my seat of the poants rough calculcations...on neew repeatable SFA numbers guessed at the LOW scale! Not this high scale!
Chucaupt ONLY today...PD...lateron! AG too.
P.S.- Who is Bob Lippset- General Manager OPERATIONS - Bob has over 25 years experience in Project Managemenr for resourse industries in Canada...from BM Annual report..
joined BM in 1995..
Member...Society of Metallallurgical Engineers and the Society of PETYROLEUM ENGINEERS ans APEGGA...

Chucka Says:not bad this guy...Metals and OILS! So I say do the math on one MILLION..oops Billion..Oppps .. ONE TRILLION TONS at ONE GRAM METALS! !!!
Possible ..not prooven...not probale..possible ...do the math!
