No - I DON'T REMEMBER - maybe you can refresh my memory.

I do remember a mail order house selling peripherals called PC Brands (I
think) which later changed its name to DELL.

As for IBM - getting out of the PC business will be good for them - just
as getting out of the x86 CPU business was GREAT for NSM and IDTi.

Just watch IBM's stock ZOOM when they announce their final retreat."...

Yes, DELL (yes, the DELL name) even sold through Costco. As late as 486s...but it obviously didn't last.
As far as IBM...I'm a shareholder of IBM so I welcome any stock appreciation...especially in the light of recent stock action. perhaps this is your chance to load up on IBM...
