More alleged crimes by LG as reported in todays NYTimes:

"STOCK INQUIRY BY SEOUL The South Korean Financial Supervisory Service said it would investigate possible illegal stock purchases in a domestic telecommunications giant, the Dacom Corporation. The LG Group and the Tongyang conglomerates are suspected of failing to report major purchases of Dacom stock to the authorities. By law, a company's failure to report huge purchases of stocks can result in fines of more than 5 million won and one year in prison for the individuals responsible.
Samuel Len (NYT)"

It is interesting that the Korean authorities are acting to put a halt to the alleged LG acts of fraud. Why, however, has Janet Reno failed to initiate an antitrust case against LGE?
