Yeah, I know the feeling. Have been holding this one since... well, a couple of years now and the volatility sure is annoying but I feel we are going to be seeing a new trading level soon. There is much I feel is not priced into this stock and I feel that those who were selling into the volume may be about out of stock soon. As you do, I believe in this company. I know that people are making a killing trading in and out (I did it a couple of times) but I was just sort of expressing my thoughts that I won't be doing that for the coming months. I've seen many biotechs move toward an approval and I don't think I want to be in and out at this time for that and other reasons.
I also avoid the use of stop loss orders on this stock. It's a good way to get your stock ripped off with this one. Not telling you anything you don't already know, just thinking out loud about my own strategy for any interested who may be lurking etc.
I think now is the time to watch the margins because of the volatility and, if one can, buy on those crashes.
Our day is coming...
Wishing for some news from San Diego,
BENNETT
Also, I laugh to think I am offering this as though it's some kind of legitimate TA but, I see this as very normal. On each of IDEC's runs, the starts were very strong and the 4th or 5th day is always a pull-back followed by renewed strength. We'll see!
