Bill,
Thanks for info. I had heard of the Times article, but it's good to get a little reassurance after a day like yesterday.
I just noticed an interesting post on the SI "Year 2000 - Date Change Problem" thread: exchange2000.com
Like many others, the article talks of unpreparedness (if that's really a word) of major corporations in dealing w/y2k. Another point of interest is that this study was commissioned by Cap Gemini. Prior to Michel Berty announcement, I had never heard of Cap Gemini (of course, I don't get out much). Now I'm wondering if a) we might be hearing more of them, and b) might they have some sort of tie-in w/ZMAX, since CG is multi- times larger than Z, but Z just got CG's chief.
I don't know that there's any significance, but regardless, it's yet another positive vote for the potential of the y2k sector.
You wrote <<Anyway, nothing untrue in the slam, however, the reporter failed to find out what the company is doing, the alliances they have made, the value of the software they have developed, their anticipated revenues, or, basically, anything positive about the company. I seriously doubt that this is going to have any long term effect on the stock. I remain convinced, and, as a matter of fact, am buying more at these levels.>>
I agree totally. Can you imagine what might happen if these "investigative" reporters wrote an article on the "new Z" vs. the "old Z"? Let 'em trash talk while they can. IMHO, ZMAX is getting guns loaded to make lots of $$$ . . . will soon be much harder to trash talk.
BTW, I notice that this is about the 4th post on this thread in the last few days. They're not gonna start calling us a cult, are they? <ggg>
Thanks, David |
