Three Korean chipmakers focus on MPEG2 and other non-memory business. Don't know if they'll have much success. Hyundai owns Odeum, and the article says that "Hyundai produces 1 million MPEG2 decoders per month which are used for DVD players." Hmmmmm . . . that gives Hyundai about 1000% of the DVD player market . . . Lots of hype. koreaherald.co.kr
