Comments? Sure it's as good a theory as any. Actually it's not bad. I don't think we're out of the woods until the third quarter. This quarter is going to be fine. But already, I'm hearing from the shorts that this one is fine because they mortgaged the next. They are running out of excuses but boy aren't they tenacious? What I've been thinking is, that this quarters numbers will serve to qualm the fears of the institutional investors. This will allow them to start to look past VCD at the other pieces of the business. Once they figure out just how much of a one product company this is, they should start to move back in. It will take time, the MO players should wait another quarter. More announcements like Adaptec & Sun should help. How about a Toshiba, Pioneer or Sharp on Consumer DVD. Plus some big name PC manufacturer and or CREAF on the PC DVD side. An announcement that they have integrated the copy protection circuit would be great news. On the Broadcast side we need another Zenith like win. Wonder what GI or Scientific Atlanta think of the AViA chips, boy wouldn't that be a ride. We can only hope.
