Howard, Co says BD suit will not materially affect Qdel: QUIDEL Says Becton Dickinson Lawsuit Has No Merit SAN DIEGO, April 9 /PRNewswire/-- QUIDEL Corporation (Nasdaq: QDEL) said the lawsuit filed against it in the U.S. District Court in Wilmington, Delaware by Becton Dickinson has no merit. The company said it will defend the patent infringement lawsuit vigorously. QUIDEL officials said that the ultimate outcome of the lawsuit is not expected to have any material effect on the Company.
