I agree with you Ron. I don't think it is Ampex holding back on the news. Someone on an earlier post said Ampex was keeping it till the Annual meeting but that doesn't make good sence. Especially in light of the small number of people who actually show up at the meeting. If a major agreement has been signed which has not yet been announced it is because the other party (be it IBM, WDC or whomever) does not want to tip off the competition as to what their future plans are. And if it is IBM it is even more true since that would mean that KM must work well with MR!
